How it all began... Out of the realisation of the non-existence of a platform where the youth is actively engaged in an on-going debate on socio-political matters, and the misconception that politics and socio-political issues in general are not to be a concern of the youth and that their involvement will not yield a betterment in which solutions, change and the dispersion of information will be achieved -Coolpolitics South Africa was started in 2009. The organisation is established to become a credible voice of the youth in an age where youth is marginalised and seen by many as an uninformed, uninvolved and apathetic lot. Projects officially kicked-off in September 2009 with the Bantu-Boere Jol debates at House of Nsako in Brixton, Johannesburg.
